Common Law Admission Test (CLAT 2017) - National level entrance Exams for admission into Various National Law Universities of India.

This entrance exam is given by students who want to take admissions in Integrated LLB and LLM courses offered by various National Law Universities of India. Presently there are 17 such universities and the entrance exams are conducted once in a year in one of these universities every year. This year the entrance exams are conducted by Chankya National Law University, Patna in the month of May. The tentative date of the receipt of application is 1st of January, 2017 and submission of forms is 31st March 2017. The exams will held in second week of May and thereafter in last week of May. Then the counselling and admissions will start in 1st week of June. Students enrolling themselves for UG or PG courses have to fulfil the eligibility criteria as mentioned by the Universities every year. This year the upper age limit for UG students is fixed 20 years. These exams are held online in English Language. The syllabus is prepared by the university conducting exam and mainly comprises of General Knowledge and Current Affairs, Legal Aptitude, Elementary Mathematics and Constitutional Law, etc.

Before Actual Exams - Mock Test for CLAT used by students to know the procedure and instructions of online CLAT exam.

These Mock tests are conducted so that the students understand their performance and improve it. These mock test papers enable the students to improve their English knowledge, aptitude Knowledge and general knowledge. Spending regularly time on mock test will enable students to achieve high score in CLAT exams.

Law Students can opt either for a 3 year law course after graduation or a 5 year integrated course after passing class 12.

The number of Students perusing three year course are increasing year on year basis. However after doing 3 year course specialisation is required to be done by the students. Students who after graduation want to make career in Law can opt for 3 year law course. These courses are provided by various universities of India.
